Park Memorial is a family owned and operated full-service funeral home with locations throughout Northern Alberta. We are looking to hire a licensed Funeral Director for our Edmonton location. By providing compassionate guidance and expert assistance throughout the ceremony planning and disposition arrangements, our funeral directors create meaningful farewell ceremonies.

We have many internal supports for our directors including an answering service to take overnight calls, a transfer service dedicated to evening transfers, an admin team to assist with paperwork, graphic design team to create memorial cards, video tributes and other special requests, a primary embalming team dedicated to preparation work, aftercare specialists to meet with families following the service; and a guaranteed 4 days off after the on-call rotation to refresh and rejuvenate.

We strive for long-term retention and development of our team; the Funeral Director is pivotal in helping develop Park Memorial Apprentices in preparation for a career as Funeral Directors.

We are looking to hire a Funeral Director to oversee three of our rural locations (Vegreville, Lamont, and Smoky Lake) that are all close in proximity. The Funeral Director will be responsible for the overall management of service delivery including arrangements, disposition, ceremony, and after care, with strong assistance from the Edmonton team. By providing compassionate guidance and expert assistance, they help create meaningful and respectful farewell ceremonies.

Qualifications:

• Funeral Director’s license is required.

• Embalmer’s license is considered an asset.

• Experience is considered an asset, but not a necessity, as newly licensed individuals bring

other unique perspectives to the table.
