POLY-MOR TO THE RESCUE – THANK YOU
To Whom It May Concern:
I feel obliged to write this letter and explain my experience with (CRS) – a concrete slab lifting company in Winnipeg.

It all started in the spring of 2008 when I called CRS to request they provide an estimate to lift and level my settled and cracked residential concrete walkway and driveway. I subsequently agreed to have CRS do the work and they started the project in July. After almost a whole day at my house and a return visit a few days later, the CRS representative advised that they could not lift or level certain areas of the concrete, they could not remove some of the kick hazards and they could not restore the driveway to its approximate original elevation (all of which they had contracted to do). CRS said they ‘did the best job possible’, which was not satisfactory by any standard. Furthermore, they presented a bill and demanded payment for the full amount of the estimate.
Wow, was I shocked.
My neighbour, a previous POLY-MOR customer, suggested that I contact the POLY-MOR team – ask them to evaluate the CRS work to see if they could make the job complete.
In September 2008, POLY-MOR spent about 3-4 hours only – lifting and leveling my walkway and driveway – removing all kick hazards – and advised me on how to extend the life of the concrete by treating cracks with a special caulking.
POLY-MOR did the job, perfectly! All the things CRS could not do, POLY-MOR did without hesitation – they said it was “business as usual”.
The purpose of this letter is to warn prospective CRS customers. In my estimation, CRS must be using an inferior product and inexperienced workers. Beware!
I would recommend POLY-MOR in a heart beat – unqualified.

Dear Harry & Poly-Mor: I am so happy with my sidewalk now level with my porch steps. Plus, a week earlier than I expected. The fellows were extremely competent - engineers on the job - ! And you were so helpful with suggestions and analysis of what could be done to solve my sidewalk problem!

I just got off the phone with Cal Shannon from Yellowknife. That was the $16,800. garage slab job. He was very complimentary of you and Brian and very satisfied with the work you did. In fact, he spilled a beer on the floor yesterday and for once it didn’t run away but stayed exactly where it fell so he knows the floor is very level now, lol!! He said you both were very friendly, very professional as was the work, too. He has already given me two referrals for next spring. Kudos to you and Brain for a job well done. Please pass on his comments to Brian, too.

First thank you for advertising in Windsor paper so I became aware of you company.

Your crew were keeping their appointment so there was no time wasted on either side. Jarrod and Victor were excellent. They have leveled my garage floor, I think in millimeters. Even being an engineer and expecting accuracy, this was beyond my expectations. They really knew what they were doing and they were very pleasant and friendly as individuals. They even offered to fix my sidewalk that was done two years ago by a local company.

I must say this was a really great and satisfying experience and I will definitely recommend your services to my friends.
