COURSES
Through the use of virtual classrooms, WISDOM offers a selection of courses supporting home schoolers. Each classroom environment features a tutor experienced in leading Socratic discussion. Communication within the classroom is achieved through microphone, text chat, and whiteboard.
WORKSHOPS
WISDOM Workshops are organized throughout the province where there is sufficient interest. If you gather 5 families who are committed to attend a particular workshop, we can put it on in your location. Elements of many of our workshops are included in our summer camps, socials and BBQs.

The Gilbertine Institute (A0363) operates an associate private school, The Gilbertine Institute (S2338). WISDOM Home Schooling is the banner name of the department of Gilbertine Academy that supervises and supports home education programs.

WISDOM Home Schooling was founded by a couple who saw the need for parents to be supported with maximum control over their own schooling at home, deciding what is taught to their children, as well as how and when it is taught. WISDOM is the registered brand name of the homeschooling wing of The Gilbertine Academy, S2338.
As a result of the founders' promise to uphold parents as primary educators, all decisions and policies are developed with the intent of supporting parents as they educate their children. Because the members of our facilitating team, our office staff and our Parent Support Council are home schooling grads or parents, their responses and service reflect this insight and commitment. We support all teaching methods from highly structured to unschooling, classical to eclectic to world-schooling.
