As a congregation with a focus on worship, Royal Gateway Church is looking to grow their worship team. Therefore, we are urgently looking for spirit-filled and talented individuals in the following areas to join our worship team on a part-time basis:
1. Pianist
2. 3 Guitarists (Lead, Base, Acoustic)
3. Drummer

Summary of Duties
Successful hires will play the instrument of choice under the supervision of the worship pastor during rehearsals and for the congregation during scheduled church services, and special events.

Required Qualifications
The successful candidates shall:
1. Have a clear testimony of salvation.
2. Read and play a variety of music.
3. Display excellence and proficiency in using the full capabilities of the chosen instrument.
4. Be dependable, consistent, neat, and supportive with passion for music ministry.
5. Devote a minimum of two hours weekly rehearsing and playing for services.
6. Commit to being a member of Royal Gateway Church.

Desired Qualifications
In addition to requirements, the ideal candidate shall also:
1. Have a minimum of three years of experience playing the instrument of choice in a band or orchestra at the high school level.

Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following duties satisfactorily.
1. Maintains skill playing the instrument of choice through personal practice.
2. Plays the instrument of choice for rehearsals and worship services as assigned by the worship pastor.
3. Prepares plays the selected music for rehearsals and services on own time.
4. Plays for special services such as revivals, conferences, and other programs.

Compensation
The successful candidates will be given a generous honorarium.
