LIFE Recovery Association is a Christian, Abstinence-Based, Residential
Recovery Program for women in addiction. To support this ministry, LIFE
operates LIFE’s Second Chance Thrift Store at 7-31550 South Fraser Way,
Abbotsford.
We are currently seeking volunteers as well as a part time employee.
As LIFE’s Second Chance operates with a large team of volunteers, both
employees and staff must be willing to develop positive, collaborative
relationships with each other.
Volunteer opportunities: volunteers of all ages for receiving, sorting,
pricing, display and sales of donated goods.
Employment opportunity: an individual to clean the store Monday
afternoon for 4 hours. Tasks include cleaning of restrooms, break rooms,
windows as well as vacuuming, sweeping, dusting and mopping.
A Criminal Record Check will be required for all positions and a minimum of
1 year sobriety is required for the store cleaner role.
