Job Description: Noodlebox Wok & Prep Cook
Start Date: Preferably starting as soon as possible
Location: Noodlebox Panorama Village Surrey
Primary Purpose: The general duties of the Technician include prep duties, cooking all dishes
on the menu, supporting the other technicians on the line, maintaining a clean work area and
additionally supporting managers and supervisors as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Work alongside the women from Adult & Teen Challenge BC as they work at
Noodlebox, along with other employees of Noodlebox Panorama Village.
2. Use of HOT woks, fryers and other kitchen equipment. Knowledge of all recipes and
procedures.
3. Prep all required food and sauce items, stock rotation, first in first out, following
FoodSafe policies and procedures.
4. Maintaining a clean kitchen, back of house and food storage areas. Understanding the
proper setup of the line, along with end of shift procedures. Putting away food orders.
5. Ensure FoodSafe policies and procedures are being followed at Noodlebox
6. Maintain clear & respectful communication with all staff, employees & customers.
7. Understanding how to expo and other front of house responsibilities is required
Schedule: Must be flexible with scheduling. Will be required to work some evenings, holidays
and weekends.
Decision Making: Relevant operational decisions pertaining to daily restaurant functions,
accountability, culture, etc.
Leadership: Maintain the Noodlebox Family Culture.

3. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and work under pressure in a fast-
paced quick service restaurant environment.
Work Environment: Noodlebox Panorama Village – Unit 102 – 15153 Hwy 10, Surrey, BC. This
location will primarily cater to take-out and delivery services.
