Meet the Publisher
Linda Szusz and Trevor Szusz
Dear Friends and Supporters,
I want to extend my deepest gratitude for your steadfast encouragement and supporting the Christian Businesses and Ministries in Windsor & Essex County.
As publishers of The Shepherds Guide, we believe that these enterprises are more than just organizations; they are testimonies of faith in action, serving as beacons of light in the marketplace. By supporting them, you help ensure that biblical values of integrity, service, and compassion are woven into the fabric of our communities.
Your commitment to supporting these Businesses and Ministries has also strengthened our efforts in allowing us to share the message of Christ with a wider audience.
In a world filled with competing voices, your support has enabled us to promote truth and hope through creative and impactful outreach. Together, we are proving that advertising can be more than promotion—it can be ministry, reaching hearts and inspiring lives.
Though challenges, obstacles, and financial burdens have tested our resolve, we remain encouraged by the promise of Scripture: “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57). With faith and perseverance, we continue to overcome difficulties, knowing that every step forward is guided by His hand. Thank you for walking alongside us in this mission, and may God bless you abundantly for your dedication.
With gratitude,Linda Szusz & Trevor Szusz
Please feel free to reach out to us, so that we can help to promote, encourage, and pray for each other.

Terry & Dawn Magee, owners of The Canadian Shepherd’s Guide
In 1995, Dawn received a diploma in business administration specializing in sales and marketing. Together with Terry, she founded Rising Oaks Ministries, which promotes and teaches the pursuit of a pure heart after God. “Our desire,” they will tell you, “is for every facet of our lives—whether business, family, or church—to come from a pure heart after God!” They have taken this message across Canada and into the United States, the Philippines, and Africa.
Terry and Dawn reside in Edmonton, Alberta and worship at Celebration Church. They have two sons, Ian and Cory, and one granddaughter, Madison. Over the years, they have “adopted” many additional children and grandchildren into their fold. One of their favorite hobbies is fishing in the summer.
