In 2005, he moved his family to Kingston, Ontario, and by 2009, he found his professional home at the Loewen Window Centre—a business he knew he could grow with and stand behind. Blair’s career is a testament to hard work and determination. Rising through the ranks from Salesman to Sales Manager and eventually President, he is now the proud Owner as the company transitions to Anchor Windows & Doors. The name "Anchor" is a heartfelt tribute to his roots; Blair was raised on a lighthouse property in Port Medway, NS, where his father served as the lightkeeper for Blair and his 13 siblings. Whether he is ensuring a customer is 100% satisfied or spending time with his four children and grandchildren, Blair always puts people first. When he isn’t at the helm of the business, you’ll find him helping his wife, Kandi, on Harbours Anchorage Farm, fishing, or cheering for the Montreal Canadiens. Go Habs Go!

Kandi Smiley

email:kandi@anchorwindows.comWhile she might jokingly refer to herself as the “Princess to the Owner,” Kandi is the engine that keeps Anchor Windows & Doors running smoothly. Married to Blair for 26 years, she has spent the last six years working directly by his side, mastering the business from the inside out. For Blair and Kandi, working together makes them an unstoppable team. Kandi is deeply passionate about people and ensuring every project reflects the quality the Smiley name stands for. She doesn’t just believe in the product—she lives it. The Smiley home is a testament to their work, filled with beautiful custom windows and doors. A proud mother of four, Kandi’s favorite title is "Nana" to her sweet grandchildren. When she isn’t at the office, she is in her element at Harbours Anchorage Farm, tending to her rabbits, goats, ducks, chickens, turkeys, and cats. Of course, no visit is complete without her two beautiful German Shepherds, Anchor and Harbour, who many of you have had the pleasure of meeting at the office!

Dillon Murphy, C.Tech

A high school friend of Blair and Kandi’s oldest son, Douglas, Dillon shared many family meals at their table long before he joined the business. Since then, he has become a cornerstone of our team, working his way up from Sales Representative to his current multifaceted leadership role. As the "man of many hats," Dillon serves as both our Sales and Service Manager. He is known for his "customer-first" philosophy, offering expert guidance throughout the entire window-buying process and providing dedicated support long after installation is complete. A graduate of the Civil Engineering Technology program at St. Lawrence College, Dillon brings 15 years of construction experience and technical expertise to every project. When he isn’t at the office, he is a devoted "busy dad" balancing his kids’ extracurriculars. An avid athlete, he spends his winters playing hockey (Go Red Wings!) and his summers on the ball diamond.

You can always rely on her bubbly, positive greeting, whether you need to connect with a sales representative, check an order status, or settle an invoice. With years of customer service experience and exceptional organizational skills, Sophia manages the many moving parts at Anchor Windows & Doors. Working closely with Kandi, she ensures that every product arrives right on time for installation. Outside of work, Sophia enjoys watching movies, drawing on her iPad, and spending quality time with her cat, Bruce!

He is dedicated to creating positive, stress-free experiences for every customer he works with. Ryan also manages our digital presence, keeping our social media channels updated with high-quality inspiration for your next home project. When he isn’t helping clients or managing our feed, Ryan is a true outdoorsman; depending on the season, you’ll find him snowboarding, golfing, fishing, or scuba diving.

William Randle

William is our window and door expert, he first started installing windows and doors here in 1999 and has been our ‘anchor’, if you will, ever since. Whether there is 3 feet of snow, or 30o heat, William is installing by choice, keeping our schedule moving and customers happy. His devotion carries through into his personal life where he most enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and 2 kids. William’s hobbies include, believe it or not, building! Alongside his interest in cars, you will find him spending his free time building extremely large scale lego sets. We trust William the most, which is why we always send him to collect a second set of measurements every time before placing your order. Measure twice, cut onc
