Mark joined the Shepherd’s Guide as the General Manager for Manitoba in April 2026. Raised in St. Catharines, Ontario, he has lived in many places including: Calgary, Niagara Falls, Port Colborne and the GTA (Greater Toronto Area). He has resided in the Pembina Valley of southern Manitoba since 2024.
After high school, Mark was a student at Emmaus Bible School for one year in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He continued his education with Business Administration at Niagara College and Brock University and Electronics Engineering Technology at Sheridan College.

Mark’s broad career track includes: Data processing (large scale mainframe), computer and Internet consulting, sales and marketing, manufacturing quality control, bus, truck and taxi driving and he excelled at driving his parents and pet cat crazy during his formative years. The role that he was most passionate about was as a credentialed Niagara Parks’ tour guide and bus driver in Canada and the US as well as Toronto. This gave him the opportunity to meet thousands of visitors from 150+ countries around the world and learn about global cultures. At the onset of the global pandemic, he retired after 32 years of service. Today Mark enjoys a part-time gig with family owned Triple E RV.

Mark is very people friendly and not the least afraid to walk up to a stranger and start a conversation or offer to take their photo with their own camera!

Mark attends a church in Winkler and sings in the local adult choir, Prairie Soundscape. Mark loves to travel and explore Canada. He considers himself a Canadian Patriot with a deep love for his country. He is also passionate about his hobbies of ham radio (VE3MR & VE3JMR) and creative photography with his Nikon DSLR, Fuji mirrorless, digital darkroom and experimenting with AI for photography.

The best summer of his life was in 1976 when he joined a summer missions team in rural Scotland ministering to children and their families. He is most passionate about Christian missions and presenting Christ to a lost world by reminding them that Life has an expiry date.
