Dr. Travis Friesen
A graduate of the University of Manitoba, Dr. Friesen received awards in implantology, endodontology and pediatrics. Dr. Friesen has years of experience working in the underserved communities in Northern Manitoba, the Health Sciences Centre, and in private practice. His extensive experience shows in his ability to perform a multitude of procedures skillfully. He received a GPR (General Practice Residency) from the University of Manitoba Oral Surgery Department for his work with medically compromised patients, cancer care patients, special needs patients, dental emergencies and trauma including life-threatening infections. He is passionate about helping others, which is why he enjoys annual dental missions trips to help those less fortunate in Guatemala. He has taken hundreds of hours of advanced training, allowing him to go beyond basic dental procedures to provide his patients with healthy, beautiful smiles. A gentle soul, Dr. Friesen is fun-loving and focused assuring that a visit to iDental Centre is enjoyable and top-notch. A loving husband and father of four, he enjoys hockey, computers and fixing his home and others.
